Me in a nutshell…

I am an artist, designer and maker living in the Midlands in the Uk.

I have a deep love for nature and all the wonderful creatures we are blessed to share this planet with. I work gesturally and loosely with the hope to bring life to my drawings. I am currently exploring this love and the immediate world around me in my sketchbooks, Animal Portraits, Illustration and Picture Book idea development.

Discovering and learning about nature and animals through drawing brings me a lot of joy. I am often so blown away by the incredible creatures we are lucky enough to share this planet with and I hope to be able to share this love with others. As well as my art practice, I have spent ten years working in art departments in the stop motion animation industry. I have been blessed with opportunities to work on some wonderful projects for the BBC, NBC/Universal, Netflix, Milkshake and commercials for NBC x Nike, McDonalds x Toca Boca and more. My roles have included art direction, Production Design Assistant, designing, illustrating, prop making, prop painting, set dressing, concept art and creating 2D CGI assets.

I now have a young daughter who has become a whole new source of inspiration. I have loved and collected Picture Books for a long time and now I have someone to share them with. She has inspired me to work towards my own Picture Book journey, which is now another focus of my creative practice.
